Beginners

At Renseikan kendo club rather than have particular times of the year when we accept beginners, we accept students all year round.

Once you have contacted the dojo with an interest in starting kendo the schedule for your beginners classes will be agreed between yourself and the club.

In this way you are directly responsible for your own development. The more time you invest, the quicker your invitation to join full practice.

The beginners course costs £60 and runs for on avereage 4-6 weeks.

This payment includes :

- 3 months temporary membership to the British Kendo Association including BKA insurance.

- A bokuto and shinai - which you will be given as a gift once you have completed the beginners course.

- Tuition for the beginners course.
